The Rectory
A modern heating upgrade transformed this property into a warmer, more comfortable living space.
The Rectory now a fantastic family residence, needed a more efficient and controllable heating system. The old 60 kW standard-efficiency, non-condensing boiler offered very limited control and had no remote thermostatic system. Corrosion had affected the unit, and the conventional chimney and flue showed signs of leakage back into the basement.
Solution
After a site survey, it was deemed that two fully modulating Sapphire boilers were the order of the day!
The contract was undertaken by one of Sapphire heat solution leading agents Barton Oil Burners services. The engineers chose to fit the boilers onto a plate heat exchanger to protect the 25-year Sapphire-backed warranty. At the same time the domestic hot water and all the associated pipework and controls were replaced.
