Kencot Lodge is located in a picturesque village on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border. It’s a property dates from the 18th century, with later additions, and now offers a blend of period features and modern comforts. Kencot Lodge was selected to the installation of a new heating system due to Sapphire partnership with Genius Hub Controls, identified as a hard-to-heat property.

Solution

The new heating solution involved replacing an old boiler with a fully modulating Sapphire boiler, supplied by EOGB Energy Products LTD based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.

By upgrading the existing heating system to a Sapphire boiler, Kenton Lodge has benefitted over 30% savings per year in fuel consumption. The customer was satisfied with the excellent service and the extensive warranty.

“We have taken part in an extended home trial of the new EOGB boiler between April 2019 and August 2022.  It replaced a 15-year-old kerosene boiler with a much lighter and more compact unit, and we were particularly keen to reduce our fuel consumption. With the previous boiler providing all the heating and hot water for a large house we were using on average 300 litres per month…”
