Sapphire Heat Solutions

Sapphire Heat Solutions is a new brand bringing together the Sapphire combi and heat-only boiler models alongside the innovative Sapphire R290 heat pump range. It’s a part of the EOGB Group—an established name in the heating industry with nearly 35 years of experience in boiler and burner manufacturing.

The fully modulating oil Sapphire Boilers were launched in 2021. To support this innovation, EOGB introduced free training courses for oil heating engineers, enabling them to develop their skills and become Approved Sapphire Agents.

Today, around 200 heating engineers across the UK are trained and qualified to install, service, and support the Sapphire boiler range, ensuring high-quality installations and reliable aftercare for customers nationwide.

In early 2026, Sapphire Heat Solutions will expand its offering with the launch of the Sapphire R290 heat pump range and the latest Sapphire combi boilers. Free product training will be available from February 2026, with installations of Sapphire heat pumps carried out exclusively by approved Sapphire agents, ensuring consistent standards and best-practice installations.

As the team behind the most efficient liquid-fuelled boiler currently available on the market, we are committed to delivering advanced heating solutions that combine exceptional performance, proven reliability, and forward-thinking innovation—supporting both today’s heating needs and the transition towards a more sustainable future.

We've made it simple for you.

We have done a 25-year lifecycle comparative carbon emissions & carbon offset test.

The results are very interesting.

Our work in numbers

Let’s look at a 2-bedroom upgraded property in the Midlands and their average fuel consumption of CO2e using various fuels. How many Broadleaf Trees would be required to offset them?

HVO – The Fuel of the future available today

“HVO” Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil is a certified net zero carbon fuel produced from waste cooking oils and fats.

Eco House Icon

Homes currently on Kerosene heating can easily transition to this fuel with minor conversions to their existing system to make a true environmental change now.
Bio Fuel Icon

Liquid biofuels in the form of HVO is a true sustainable and sensible approach to off gas grid decarbonisation.

Minimum capital expenditure for end users will mean greater uptake compared to complete invasive/disruptive works required to fit alternative energies.

FUTURE OF LIQUID HEATING IN HOMES

Liquid biofuels are an environmentally-friendly alternative to use to heat your home and supply hot water whilst reducing the carbon emissions polluting out atmosphere.

Greater uptake will result from minimal end-user capital outlay as opposed to extensive, disruptive work needed to install alternative energies.

Challenge

Kerosene currently heats 1.5 million homes in the UK (6%).
It produces tens of thousands of jobs for service personnel.

By 2050, UK government aim to bring all carbon emissions down to net zero.

Air source heat pumps and biomass boilers create good emission statistics but due to high setup and installation costs they have poor utilisation. They are also not suitable for some homes due to age and design.

Rural properties are often older and poorly insulated. With serious investment and high costs, they can be improved.

The Benefits

The similarities to existing heating installations allow for easy modification to use HVO.

HVO does not include aromatics like traditional crude oil derived fuels, ensuring safety when handling it.

The higher flashpoint of 61 degrees celsius is another benefit. Making a good argument to declassify its categorisation of a flammable liquid.

Pure HVO is also a biodegradable substance, there meaning it is classified as a non-pollutant.

Let's work together to care for our Climate and Communities

Looking at the above, you can see that by having a Sapphire Boiler installed you are already reducing your emissions.

Besides that, by purchasing a Sapphire Boiler, you’ll be planting and protecting a tree in a new UK woodland – supporting nature and capturing CO₂.

Our Work

We have done a vast amount of research on this subject and have handpicked a suitable partner to make offsetting your CO₂e experience as pain free as possible.

After the boiler’s purchased, you will receive a unique certificate detailing your positive impact you have had on the environment, planting one tree in a newly created woodland in Northumberland.

Forest Carbon Ltd

Forest Carbon Ltd leads the way in developing woodland creation and peatland restoration projects for carbon capture and ecosystem services. Their projects in the UK and outside help businesses to offset their carbon footprint by investing in sustainable ecosystems.

Through the partnership with Forest Carbon, The Sapphire Boiler is proud to sponsor tree planting for every boiler sold, making it easy for our customers to take part in creating a greener future.
